Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

Contract: Permanent 

Location: Home based, with extensive UK travel and international travel to support Green Flag Award International expansion 

Not For Profit People are supporting the recruitment of an Accreditation Learning and Development Manager for a leading national not-for-profit organisation.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of learning and development across the organisation's accreditation programmes. Working with colleagues, partners and sector professionals, you will ensure the continued delivery of high-quality training, learning resources and development opportunities that support accreditation standards and professional excellence.

You will lead on the design, implementation and continuous improvement of learning programmes, working closely with internal teams, trainers, assessors and external stakeholders to ensure training remains relevant, engaging and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and delivery of learning and development across the organisation's accreditation programmes.
  • Design, commission and review high-quality training materials, online learning resources and development programmes.
  • Manage and continuously improve learning pathways for assessors, judges, trainers and other stakeholders.
  • Work with internal colleagues and external partners to identify current and future learning needs.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of face-to-face and online training events.
  • Monitor participation, learner feedback and outcomes, using evaluation to improve future learning provision.
  • Support the development of new learning products and accreditation initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers, facilitators and subject matter experts.
  • Ensure learning content reflects current legislation, best practice and accreditation requirements.
  • Contribute to wider organisational projects and strategic objectives where required.

About You

The successful candidate will be an experienced learning and development professional with excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of designing and delivering learning and development programmes.
  • Experience of developing both face-to-face and digital learning solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of evaluating learning effectiveness and using feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confidence working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering an excellent learner experience.

Experience of working within professional accreditation, education, membership, environmental or not-for-profit sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
