Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Project Coordinator

Fixed term, Part Time (0.88 FTE – 30.80 hours per week)

Salary: £29,686 per annum (£26,123 pro rata per annum)

This role is offered as a fixed-term contract, with the opportunity for an internal secondment

We are: looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our busy Human Resources team as an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Project Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development, promotion and delivery of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. Working across a range of projects and initiatives, you will help embed EDI principles throughout all aspects of Conservatoire life, supporting our staff, students and wider community.

This role combines project delivery and coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, researching new topics and turning ideas into practical, engaging outcomes. You do not need to be an EDI specialist, but you will have a genuine interest in equality, diversity and inclusion and a desire to develop your knowledge in this area.

You are: highly organised, proactive and digitally confident, with excellent communication and coordination skills. Naturally curious and eager to learn, you are comfortable researching unfamiliar or complex subjects and transforming information into accessible resources, guidance and activities for a range of audiences.

The successful candidate will have the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy, while maintaining confidentiality at all times.

At the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland we are committed to improving representation to the benefit of students, staff and our wider community.

We will appoint on merit and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. We particularly encourage applications from candidates from minority ethnic backgrounds’. If you’re in agreement, I’ll update the advert.
