An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Southend on Sea from September 2026. As part of an outstanding trust there is ample opportunity for progression.
This is a permanent position open to specialists across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, including ECTs and experienced practitioners.

The Role
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Science lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive department
- Inspire students to develop curiosity, confidence, and strong scientific understanding
- Participate in wider school life and enrichment opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or working towards it)
- Strong subject knowledge in any Science discipline
- A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement
- Someone who brings energy, creativity, and high expectations
