Support Worker – Lewisham
We are working with an exciting organisation that is seeking Support Workers in Lewisham, London. You will be supporting adults with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and complex needs, helping them to live fulfilling, independent lives.
You will be working for a national charity supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and mental health needs. They put people at the centre of everything they do, so that they get support that truly meets their needs.
Job Title: Support Workers
Location: Lewisham, London SE23
Contract: Permanent – Full time / Part time
Salary: £13.85 per hour (£28,163.42 per annum, pro-rata for part-time)

About the Role
We are looking for passionate Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Lewisham. You will be supporting adults to gain independence, live healthily, and achieve their personal goals.
Your role will involve providing personal care, administering medication, supporting with daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping, cooking and budgeting, and encouraging people to access community activities and develop new skills.
You will play a key role in supporting individuals to live the life they want – making choices, building confidence, and achieving their ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support people to live independently and make their own decisions.
- Assist with daily living tasks and personal care as required.
- Encourage and support individuals to access community activities.
- Promote skill development and independence.
- Maintain accurate records and follow support plans.
- Ensure health, safety and wellbeing for those you support and your colleagues.
- Work as part of a team and attend training and meetings as required.
- Perform all duties in line with the organisation’s policies and values.

A UK driving licence is desirable, and you must be fully flexible to work shifts. Full training and induction will be provided.
