We are seeking caring and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and complex care requirements within a specialist healthcare setting.
Position: Healthcare Assistant
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Location: Derbyshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
Contract: Permanent

This is a rewarding opportunity to join a specialist service supporting adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and complex care requirements. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in helping individuals achieve greater independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the delivery of individual care plans under the guidance of qualified healthcare professionals
Providing practical and emotional support to individuals in a respectful and person-centred way
Assisting with personal care, including dressing, bathing, and toileting where required
Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
Observing and monitoring physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
Reporting and recording any changes in presentation or concerns appropriately
Supporting therapeutic activities and daily living tasks
Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support and the wider team
Maintaining accurate records in line with organisational policies and procedures
