Senior Evaluation Officer

We are looking for a Senior Evaluation Officer to lead the Domestic Abuse priority area.

Job role: Senior Evaluation Officer

Salary: £54,899 plus generous benefits

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Location: Central London (hybrid working)

Closing date: 14 September

The Role

You’ll be a senior member of the Evaluation team, reporting to the Head of Evaluation and responsible for the performance and development of 1 x Evidence and Evaluation Officer. Your portfolio may also include projects in other priority areas, depending on the team’s needs. Working in multidisciplinary teams, your role will be to scope evaluations and ensure that commissioned evaluations are delivered on time, on budget and to high standards.

  • Evaluation experience: Explain where and how you developed your evaluation experience, including your experience of designing studies and quality assuring evaluation outputs. For this role, we are particularly interested in your experience of impact evaluation.
  • Commissioning, grant-making or proposal-writing experience: Explain where and how you gained experience of commissioning work, grant-making, contributing to procurement processes, developing briefs, writing proposals, or responding to tenders.
  • Sector experience: Explain where and how you developed your knowledge and experience of the domestic abuse sector, including relevant research, policy or practice experience.
  • Line management experience: Explain where and how you developed your line management experience, including recruitment, objective-setting and review, performance management, and supporting learning and development.
  • Stakeholder management experience: Explain where and how you developed your stakeholder management skills. Please include examples of working effectively with internal teams, external partners and/or delivery organisations.
