About the Job:

Based at a direct access accommodation service, you will manage a committed team of 9 staff and work closely with the associated day centre to support people directly from the streets. This is a pivotal leadership position, responsible for delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support within a psychologically informed environment.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of the service, leading innovative approaches, and ensuring a joined-up, multi-agency response to tackling rough sleeping. This includes managing day-to-day operations, safeguarding, data and performance monitoring, and fostering community and partnership collaboration.

  • Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver effective, compassionate, and trauma-informed support
  • Manage service performance, ensuring quality standards, safeguarding practices, and KPIs are consistently met
  • Oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and development of staff and volunteers
  • Work collaboratively with local partners to co-produce activities and specialist services tailored to individual needs
  • Ensure high standards in housing management, including void turnaround, occupancy, and service charge collection
  • Monitor and report on service data, outcomes, and client satisfaction using a dedicated case management system
  • Support strategic objectives to reduce rough sleeping and promote long-term recovery and resettlement

About you:

  • Proven experience managing a frontline support service, ideally within homelessness, housing, or social care
  • Strong leadership, communication, and staff development skills
  • Knowledge of trauma informed and psychologically informed approaches
  • Confident in safeguarding, risk management, and service planning
  • Comfortable managing budgets, data, and working to KPIs
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
